FILE SHARING

Exchanging files and other data has become very common among internet users. All kind of files ans software applications are being shared all the time.
To do this, users normally use Peer2Peer (P2P) programs such as eMule, Ares or BitTorrent.
You must take care before downloading and redistributing content form other users, and before opening and executing any content or software from the web, much of which is subject to legal restrictions.
Software can be open source, which means that we know the source code and anyone can modify it. If it isn't open source, then only the owner can modify it.
There are other types of software:
-- Free software. Users can install, modify, copy and distribute the software .
--Propietary software. The users need a licence to use, modify and distribute this software.
-- Freeware. This is free and can be distribuyendo but not modified.
-- Public domian software. Also free available to all users.

Shareware is a way of distributing software which allows the users to try the product first, then buy a licence later if they are satisfied with the product.
